The size of the design is approximately 90 x 83 cm.

The history of this design dates back to about 182 years ago.

This design exists in the Masjid-i-Sayyed in Isfahan, Iran. The mosque is built in 1840 during the Qajar Dynasty. The Qajar dynasty was an Iranian royal dynasty of Turkic origin, specifically from the Qajar tribe, ruling over Iran from 1789 to 1925.

The pattern belongs to a group of Islamic geometric structures called pentagonal structures that can be found in various regions of the Islamic world such as Turkey, Uzbekistan, Morocco, India, and others.

The design is done in a style of zellij (widely used in the west of the Islamic world)where its elements are colorful tiles pieces individually hand-chiseled and fitted together to form various patterns.

We have prepared the blueprint for this design according to the original traditional method that uses circles and constructional lines to produce the geometric design, where the proportion between the angles of the shapes and the component elements is precisely geometrically controlled.
